TLDR: Adroit 11 out of 10. Design: 10/10 (incorporates all design element and fully understands the little details of construction we are looking for) Schedule: 10/10 (even during covid restrictions) Aug-Oct 2020 - engage Adriot with materials selection Nov 2020 - Start work 02 Feb 2021 - completed and Move in Price: 9/10 (not the cheapest but affordable and definitely worth) Communication: 10/10 (replies text and calls in a moments notice, understands asks) After sales follow-up: 10/10 (touch up and follow up done within a week even after 100% handover) <Start> We walked pass the office while walking our dog at Crawford Lane! After comparing with other companies, Adroit stood out in terms of design and affordability for the quality and workmanship promised. Had Kandy as our ID and from the start she was easy to deal with, communication was smooth and most importantly she listened to both of us. Providing solutions whenever we stumbled across a gridlock. There is a sense of assurance that we will be taken care of especially having busy work schedule. <ideation> no time to waste as we plan to start work the moment we collect the keys. Kandy sets up meetings and tile/vinyl/materials selection sessions and mini education so we know exactly what we will be paying for and experiencing when we move in. Tile shopping was tiresome but thorough, all in the good name of getting what’s right. The effort Kandy puts in to make sure the tile works makes us assured that the design language will flow. Dimension down to the millimeter was discussed, lighting points, switches, basically ensuring that the end product will be ergonomic. Key. <Reno> Permits and workflow schedule were already done weeks before we collected the keys. Hacking started immediately, and everything just flows. We did our own site visit and have our inputs and checking in on little stuff that they missed out (yea it happens but it’s a lot less than expected). <Handover> Kandy and Adroit really came through, no delays, their planning and schedule were accurate. Little touch up was follow up within the week upon request, like paint touch up, electrical point inaccuracy, etc. <Bonus> there was a photo taking session arranged which really captures the work done and space that we created. @kandy we’re still waiting on all the pictures haha. <End> We already recommended to our grandma to renovate her kitchen and friends, most of which already set up discussion sessions with Adroit.

My interior designer Ashley was really helpful in my renovation journey! We approached about 5 designers and Ashley stood out as she had plenty of ideas/advice to share in the first meeting, unlike other IDs we approached. Throughout the renovation process, my hubby and I were rather undecided on many things and Ashley was able to give us a lot of guidance/advice to help us. I also love her infectious personality. During tile-shopping, she had many ideas on how to make the floors POP (in terms of style) and we really had fun choosing the tiles with her. She was also very prompt to react whenever we highlighted issues/problems to her. In addition, her after-completion follow-ups were great and a great plus point: she was able to keep the renovation project to our budget! All in all, I really appreciate having her as my interior designer.

We had just sold our first home and looking to upgrade to a bigger unit at a Mature Estate. While we were finalising the sale and acquisition of our homes, we decided to source for potential interior design companies. They came back to us and several companies came and meet us with their concept and ideas. Ashley. What can I say? She has been amazing. Patient with our ever-changing demands and fickle mindedness. She was really the person who juggles my wife s erratic ideas and my nonchalant attitude. In the end, she designed and built the perfect home for my family. I have nothing but words of appreciation to her dedication and her commitment to ensuring that our renovation journey was smooth and delightful. We will not hesitate to recommend her to any of my family or friends.

ID Kai has the poorest time management skill and is the most irresponsible ID I have ever met, so much so that I warn you before using him since these two are important attributes when we look for in an ID. First of all, he suggested to meet on Hari Raya Haji even though I told him I didn’t want him to work on public holiday. He insisted and we agreed on the timing 1.30pm even though he asked for a later timing which I couldn’t make it. He later told me that he will be taking his vaccination in the morning, which I asked if he would like to meet another day in case of side effects. He again insisted that he could meet as he would be fine after the vaccination. On the morning of Hari Raya Haji, he texted me that he mixed up his vaccination appointment that it was 12.30pm and not 11.30am so he would be late. I asked if we delayed to 2pm, is it okay for him. He then said okay. Bear in mind his vaccination centre was at Jurong and we were going to meet at his office in Lavender but I didn’t know this until much later. He said he will check out the crowd and update me later. Nevermind, no message from him until I texted him around 1.20pm to confirm on his office address. He then remembered to tell me he was still waiting for registration! When he hadn’t registered, he set a timing to meet us at 2.30pm-2.50pm considering he had to rest 30 mins after the jab and also travel down. When I checked in with him later, I found out he was having lunch with his girlfriend at 3pm. If his original schedule with us was 1.30pm, I would expect him to have taken his lunch before his vaccination especially he then had one more hour of free time. It turned out it was a joke of the public holiday, wasted our time and he had probably planned out a date with his girlfriend. He asked if he could email me the quotation instead. Of course he didn’t follow up and I didn’t want to engage him in any case.

Our company supplied goods to Adroit ID in October 2022. Only 50% payment received for the supply. Balance payment still not received as of today. Keep contact ID Kaie and chasing but no payment received at well. Writing here see whether can get some response from the company to settle the outstanding balance. Hopefully get some response and the issue can be solved asap and case close. Thanks you.
