Both me and my spouse have came upon Artis Interior P/L, whilst looking for a reliable Interior Company. On this day, we had noticed almost 90% of the Interior Company in IMM are having in-house promotion like sign up for certain package will received free gift like System 3 Air-conditioning or whatever. We personally don't believe in free gift as we believed if a Company is good, they don't need to prompt free gift to attract Customers. Then, we saw Artis Interior with no promotion, & no GST, no video played in showroom to showcase their design, & is Case-Trust Approved. Then, we were attended by Lynn Tee. She was just plain simple (with no makeup nor dress to kill) & sincere. She listened attentively to our concept expectation & budget, then she showed us via her mobile, some photos of her personally completed projects which she felt will suit our concept. From here, our journey begins, we had signed up with Lynn as our Interior Designer. After a short 3 days from our sign up date, we received a call from her that we are able to meet up to discuss further of our renovation; like selection of the cabinet's materials & colour, her planned renovation work scheduled & our 3D drawings, which we allowed to make amendments of up to a maximum of 3x. We are very surprised at Lynn speed of work & her design really met our expectations. From the time that we collected our new 4-room BTO flat key, we had only go to our non-renovated unit once, until the entire renovation process was completed, then we went over to do cleaning to be prepared for moving in. Throughout the whole renovation process, we only liaise with each other by WhatsApp on the placement of the Sockets, Air-conditioning, Bathroom Accessories & also whole units Paint selection. Lynn Tee is absolutely hardworking, diligence and sincere with her jobs. She is non-calculated and genuinely helpful. We had purchased our own Air-conditioning, Citygas Dryer and Water Heater, Custom-made Window Vertical Blinds, which by right when the people come down for installation, we the owners should be the one to stand by. But Lynn had helped us make arrangement (we WhatsApp our invoices to her) & stand by on the day of the delivery & installation, on my behalf, for every of our purchase that required installation! Because of Lynn; she had made our renovation journey a fabulous easy, stress free & wonderful experience. We had so much time packing up our old house stuff getting ready to move into our beautifully design and cozy new home. Lynn Tee of Artist Interior P/L is a Marvellous, Diligence, Responsible and Compassionate ID.

The entire project took pretty long (5months) but the renovation was completed within budget and more importantly, my ideas were transformed to reality with John of Artis Interior. There are many areas from out renovation by Artis Interior which I felt was done well, especially the TV feature wall and the opposing feature wall. The TV feature wall includes 2 concealed doors which looks like a natural extension of the wall, rather than normal doors. The wall paper opposite the TV console was my idea - a montage of red wine glasses. Why red wine? Because our fengshui has dictated that this wall be red in colour. John of Artis Interior also incorporated my request to have 3 gaming monitor screens at the study table in my bedroom. Overall, I think that the 3-room flat has been well renovated and it looks much larger.

I engaged Artis Interior after walking around at IMM. I chose them despite not having done too much of research, as they seemed trustworthy. In the end, I'm happy with my renovation. It was quite a smooth process, as my interior designer handled everything well. Although the design was simple and nothing special, service and works quality wise, I can have no complaints and have to say that they met my expectations. Overall, they Artis Interior gave me good value for money as I got both reliability and quality with my renovation.

We were looking for an interior designer firm and we manage to came upon Artis Design where Joshua attended to us. He showed us the company's design portfolio and we briefly discussed our intended design choice and budget. The following meetings, Joshua showed us sketches and drawings our our discussed designs. He also provided 3D renderings of the interior which he had planned for us. Joshua is a designer which also very detailed in considering our ideas and suggestions. He is suggested us options regarding ideas and material usage. During the site installation, he is always on site to ensure construction is carried on on time. Our overall experience with Joshua and Artis Design is a pleasant one and we would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

The entire experience with this company/designer is not entirely pleasant. We had confirm this designer as we think she has good designs ideas. However, from the way she manage her workers and our resale project, resolving issue, communication to customers, we do not think she matches up to someone with 8 years of experience. Due to her inexperience, we had to spend more money to resolve certain issues and although we try to be understanding that she is still young for her age but we realize her attitude is not good and unacceptable. Whenever we try to iron out issues with her, we feel she will push the the blame to different reasons or other parties except for herself. Frankly, we understand project will definitely have hipcups along the way but when hipcups happened and your ID is an inexperience and someone who is immature then you will get a hell of time. I recalled that I do have hipcups with my past home project but the outcome was not so frustrated as this one as the previous ID we engaged was more humble and understanding. I can see the way he speak to his guys with tactfulness and with good people skill. End up many things was resolved very fast and most important in a peaceful manner and totally without arguments. No doubt there are oversight on his end, he sincerely apologized and get things corrected promptly with a lot of initiative. Her workers whom she send to our house to touch up was outright rude and talk with sarcasm when requested to mend some additional wall cracks. (All this happened when full payment is maid). When this was feedback to ID, ID commented that if her workers are at fault, it is her workers fault AND NOT HER FAULT as she cannot control what his workers say or do. (Does she means she does have have control over her workers, her workers do no respect her as she is too young or what?) Their plastering workmanship is also not good as well, although there are a few attempt to rectify but there is still uneven tone. It is insane to deal with immature designers and if time can turn around, I will go for designers with more years of experience rather than designer who purely have design ideas. Her quotes was seemingly the cheapest among all quotes i received but i later realized it is because there are a number of things which she overlooked and did not add up o the the quote. Home-owners should really beware of this. Her quote ended up to be more expensive than my other quotes which i got. This is perhaps what others call hidden costs but frankly it may be because of her lack of experience, she didnt know to include some costs for an old house. Experience is really the key thing in cost savings for resale project. My take off is o etiquee nce everything is paid off, attitude change 360 degree. Overall, totally do not feel my money is well spent.

I read the review of Chan Shui Hui posted in this forum. I totally agree and share my same experience with the ID Huang Wenyi. I signed a contract with her because her quote appeared to be the most value for money and after going through some reviews about the workmanship. Unfortunately, the nightmare with her started soon after I signed the contractor. She is definitely inexperienced and immature. My whole episode of renovation had gone quite wrongly despite my regular follow ups and some timely interventions. She did not do her duty as a project manager and her times of site inspections would take place when progress payment is due Other times, you will not likely to see her on site to monitor the works. Her contract encompassed masonry works in the yard, kitchen, toilets (both floor and wall), ceiling works, carpentry and painting. Ceiling works - I linked her up with the AIrcon installer. Dimensions of my AC given to both the installer and Wenyi. The installer tried to explain to her that the ceiling opening for incorporating the fan coil unit would need to be wider to accommodate the extraction and expulsion of air. She threw tantrum when requested for a wider opening and insisted the size is standard. I'm now left with a ceiling opening that is so small that the AIrcon efficiency is so low that I would have to fully blast the AIrcon in order to have slightly faster cooling rate. I also couldn't take out the unit for service unless I'm prepared to damage the ceiling. Carpentry: 1) lousy and light wood given. I made book cabinets. The shelves started to bend 2 weeks after putting my books. 2) Kitchen. I had informed in writing the need for provision of LED lighting. She forgotten and the carpentry was already fabricated when she updated me. She refused to rectify and critissed that she forgotten because I kept making changes when I didn't. 3) Master bedroom wardrobe. She initially did not go according to dimensions citing contraints due to their nstalled false ceiling. Luckily, I intervened timely. There is actually no contraints at all but more efforts needed by her worker to go around the false ceiling. Variations works - I had reductions of works due to site constraints ( not sure how she come up with dimensions in the first place). As a result, she ensured that every other additions and their corresponding sums like study table wire covers, AA tracks will make up to the reduction in works. All in although I had quite a fair bit of reductions which should run into $3k plus, the net reduction turns out to be $800 plus. Installation of sanitary fittings - I tried to ask her about some technicalities so that I could buy the appropriate fittings. She didn't have clear answers for me and kept telling me the sizes are standard when it's not. For example, the kitchen sink and toilet bastion U traps are of different sizes. She told me the size is the same and doesn't matter. I wasted money following her instructions and I have to do my own research and engage others. My entire experience with her was absolutely bad. Whenever there were hiccups, she would either push blame to others including myself, rude to me, or when cornered, threw tantrums. She is nothing but a childish personnel and she should ensure she gets more training before taking on this role. You can be certain your experience with her would be extremely lousy if you deal with her.
