In October 2022, I was unintentionally introduced to Colossal Atelier. Zach's proposal presentation & defense was persuasive and encouraging that they knew their business in a competitive bid to acquire a project at our house. The options offered showed innovation and added value. This was an advantage compared to a few others who simply copied our requests verbatim and responded with expense estimates without any comments for changes or recommendations. The project was completed as planned and promised since we had a hard stop, and work-wise, progress was moderate and well-managed. The selection of tiles, lighting, fixtures, carpentry work designs, and color palettes were all carefully thought out and greatly influenced how we as the end users felt. However, Zach offered highly qualified guidance on matters where we required it. Maintaining effective communication throughout the project was simple. Zach was given feedback and responded to it quickly. I would suggest Colossal Atelier to anyone searching for a trustworthy general contractor who is capable of coordinating various trades, including electrical, carpentry, piping, design, tiling, and painting. I should also mention that the tasks and sequence were orchestrated with the target completion date in mind and were successfully carried out. Additionally, they were able to accommodate our requests to use the room and refrain from leaving while the work was being done. Being a complete novice at home renovation, I was unsure about a lot of decisions to be made for my resale flat, from colours to the technical details. Zachary was a great help in not just providing useful suggestions and advice, but was also very patient in explaining and re-explaining when I didn’t understand renovation terms. I also don’t drive, hence it would have been a big hassle to travel from one corner of Singapore to the other to look for laminates, tiles and accessories. Zachary assisted in every step of the process. Upon completion, the house is completely to my liking and every nook and corner was well-designed, with its quality assured. It could have been a really stressful process especially with my busy schedule, but instead it was actually quite smooth-sailing.
