Joe is a very friendly, patient, professional and innovative designer and we are very thankful that we have him to help us renovating our HDB flat. Being the first time home owner, we couldn't decide on the designs that we truly want and there were a few occasions that we changed the design back and forth. But Joe has been very patient along the way and accommodating on guiding us and came up with some innovative and practical designs that satisfy our requirements and budget. Home renovation could be stressful and you really need a reliable, honest and experienced designer who you could work with during the process. There were a couple hiccups during the renovation process and Joe has kept us informed and helped us to resolve this without causing any delay with the renovation progress. We are very very glad that the renovation work was completed in time (in fact 1 weeks earlier) and couldn't ask for more on the service, workmanship and the final outcome of the design. We have become good friends with Joe during the renovation process and we would like to thank Joe for helping us designing and delivering a really Home-Sweet-Home and we have no hesitation to recommend Joe Chan to anyone looking for their home renovation project.

I am very proud and very lucky to be assigned Ms Shirlyn Tan as my Project Manager to embark on my house (Blk448B, Bukit Batok) renovation. I can describe her work ethics as above excellent and her services rendered to me and my wife during the renovation was outstanding. She made herself available at any time of the day or night and without fail will respond to our call. Besides having Shirlyn as our MAIN contractor, we had also outsource other renovation works like air-con and electrical works to other contractors. Shirlyn was always present to co-ordinate with them thus saving us lots of time and headaches. She was always ready to give us her inputs. Besides all this, her style was transparent and her communication skill was outstanding. When we encountered problem (gas leakage by Citygas Contractor) which delayed the potential completion of the renovation work, Shirlyn was upfront and communicate with us the issue faced and assured us that the agreed completion (handover) date will be met. Then she did it. Throughout the renovation process, Shirlyn built a bond between herself and my family, even our parents, thus building TRUST between us which is so very important in such major project. Shirlyn is a very responsible Project Manager and an asset to, not only G’Plan Design but to any company, as she displayed hardworking, industrious and trust-worthy traits which is very rare. We would like to thank you for assigning Shirlyn Tan to me and my family and we are more than satisfied with the work done to our HOME. The renovation done to my house had created a conductive HOME for my family and me, where the ambiance had strengthened our family bondage. I will recommend G’Plan Design to my friends if any of them need to do renovation work and have Shirlyn as their Project Manager. I would like to highlight to the boss that she have done a good job despite the black sheep "Melvin Kiew" who ran away after we sign up with him and leaving us with lost of direction. Our designer Shirley was a really key part in getting our home done up nicely. As this is our first home, we were rather overwhelmed with many aspects of the renovation. Shirley was able to guide us through the process and provided useful tips for us on how to achieve our ideal home design without having to spend a lot of money. She also went the extra mile in getting us the best deals, and to accommodate our busy schedules when we had to meet. I am thankful for having her help to make the renovation process smooth and fuss-free. We are thankful that Shirley was able to help us manage the renovation timeline for our renovation to be able to complete within schedule. She really knows how to put the contractors through their paces and ensure the quality of the workmanship for our place for us to get the best bang for our buck! Lastly, Shirley is generally responsive to calls and messages. (However, we were conscious to avoid contacting her at odd hours!)

With his extensive and long experience, he gave us sound and practical advice along our renovations journey. He guided us on the choice of materials and designs. I had engaged G’Plan 5 years ago.Time passed and we gradually see the issues arise during these period.The design are so lousy, basin top below gap which trap with cockroaches and the toilet only 5 years yet the floor waterproofing wore out which have yellowish stain of urinating smell. Those who are newly engaged by Gplan, you won’t be able too see the problem now. Don’t ever engage G’Plan , it’s a regret. Those had just done it’s new and good but along the way you will see the issues popping out. Those who consider Gplan, my advice not to.

I've fully settled their payment and the MIA designer Melvin Kiew sent me a whatsapp confirming this. However Gplan still proceed to send me a small claims. There wasn't anyone else to liaise with regarding payment right from the start! Everything was through the designer. How can their internal problem be thrown back to consumers. To date rectification was still left undone since their designer Melvin Kiew ran away with their money. Very frustrating experience!
