We first engaged Insidelookz in 2020 to renovate our 4 room resale flat. Everything went smooth except for some work delays due to covid19. However, Damian ensured that all works are properly done and up to standard. We are satisfied with the reno works from his team and his quotation is reasonable. We engaged Damian again in 2023 to do a full renovation of my parent's 3 room resale flat. Again, good work, good quality items, and Damian ensured all our inputs and requirements are met. The house was really well done. He has good carpentry team, electrician team and good workers. We engaged Damian again in the same year to do a beautiful wardrobe for my daughter's room. Got to know Damien through a friend’s referral, met up with him and had a good discussion on the design therefore decided to go ahead with him. During the renovation process, Damien is always responsive and helpful in looking out for alternative solution if the initial design does not work out. We were introduced to InsideLookz while browsing for interior designers on Qanvast and decided to engage Damian after speaking with several designers. From our first conversation, Damian immediately grasped our vision for the home and understood our requirements. He offered suggestions tailored to our design preferences, style, needs, and budget—without being pushy or suggesting unnecessary features that didn’t align with our concept. We collected the keys to our 4-room BTO in early September 2024, and after waiting two weeks for HDB to address defects, Damian could begin the renovation. We informed him that we aimed to move in by the end of the year. The renovation process took about 13 weeks, starting at the end of September and wrapping up on December 27, 2024. Damian met our agreed-upon timeline without compromising on the quality or finish. Throughout the renovation, Damian kept us updated on any issues or decisions that required our input. He always provided thoughtful advice, outlining the pros and cons of each option, which allowed us to make informed choices. With his extensive experience as an interior designer, we trusted Damian to guide us on key design elements such as wall colors, carpentry finishes, vinyl flooring direction, and kitchen countertop styles. Got recommended to InsideLookz when we were looking through IDs on Qanvast. We spoke to a few IDs and ultimately decided to engage Damian from InsideLookz as our ID. When we first spoke to him about how we want our home to look like, he understood our requirements and concept straight away. All in all, our home turned out better than expected, and it exceeded our expectations. Also, the various contractors (electrician, plumber, carpenter etc) that Damian worked with are very experienced, professional and did an amazing job. At any point of time, Damian would be the only point of contact, and any issues or questions we can just direct to him and he will take care of it. Which makes it very convenient and easy from any homeowner/client point of view. Of course, with any renovation project, there will be hiccups along the way. Although there were some communication gaps, Damian was quick to bridge all the gaps and provided timely updates after. Throughout the renovation process, Damian will always provide us the updates, and gives us the solution that he recommends. Even after completion, when we spotted some minor defects and needed some minor carpentry touch up or alignment, he will arrange his contacts to come down and fix them ASAP. He also mentioned that if there’s anything after, we can just contact him and he’ll help. Well recommended for any homeowners looking to renovate their homes, especially for first time homeowners like us. Damian will take care of almost everything and make your home renovation journey as smooth as possible.

My husband and I had a really pleasant experience working with Damian from Insidelookz for our home renovation. Damian is very efficient and professional Damian came up with 3D designs very quickly after one consultation and receptive to changes. He’s also able to provide constructive ideas and feedback. There were some minor flaws, but his team rectified them quickly and efficiently. Worse experience ever. 1) Getting scolded by designer (Damian the boss of insidelookz) 2) Rude attitude 3) Tends to forget details given 4) Ask question but get scolded by him 5) Keep on accused by him saying that we rushing him but no. I kept all the messages that was scolded by him 6) He is very rude to his workers too 7) Renovation delayed because he said not enough workers and workers last min resigned. I wonder who wants to work with him, when I witnessed him screaming and shouting at his own workers .
