The person in charge is very rude, arrogant and dishonest. I engaged the painting service and given and agreed at a price so deposit was paid as per the term and condition. After giving the deposit the PIC became very rude and not replying message. On the day of painting, they start to say need to add this and that to top up few hundred dollar. Due to not to affect the progress of my house reno works, I agree to top up whatever requested. From the 1st day we discussed about touching up of painting work and they mentioned they will be giving some remaining paint for us to touch up after reno work. On the painting day itself, I was also personally there to ask the supervisor to leave me the paint. The supervisor gave me his words and assurance that he will definitely keep the remaining paint and will take photos to show me. After that no photo given, the next day I could not find the paint also so I ask the PIC. She said she will check and end up she told me that the workers threw all the paints. And, she said she cannot do anything, cannot give me the paint anymore, and touch up is all my problem. This was agree in the 1st day while enquiring the service. Else I could have engage others. She was so irresponsible and she did not even want to discuss to see what can be done to resolve the issue. Very bad contractor and experience. End up paying more than market price to engage the service.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my terrible experience with Sg Renovations Contractors Pte Ltd. Unbelievably, I don’t know how they got so many good reviews in Carousell (more than 100x5stars review). So I contacted her (Melissa) to get a paint job done for my place. The contract was supposedly painting of interior/exterior/roof. The time frame in the contract was 2 weeks. They kept dragging and said needed more time and asked for more money (only part of the exterior was painted and badly done). For 1 week it wasn’t raining (my contractors were doing other work in the house can testify) they didn’t turn up. I can share the photos, they are far from finishing their job. On the 3rd week, they came to remove the scaffold, there is no way they can finish their job (3rd floor wall unpainted shown in pic). Their paint is peeling off only within 2 weeks. Simple works like plastering to touch up the walls(Written in the contract) were not done and cracks were everywhere. Refer to pics below for reference. Kept asking for top-up of $$, eg pay more for the aircon ledge as they are not considered external walls, wooden fence only painted half (claiming need neighbour’s permission but we already got it). There’s still alot more but I’ll leave it as it is here. You can see from the pics below how many exterior works needs to be done By this time, I asked how much more time they needed to finish their job (as quoted by them “Left 1 corner wall and some ceiling and balcony ledge”) and they said needed 10 more days and subject to weather conditions and requested unreasonable demands to get their job done, basically to drag and wear our patience out. The interior of the house hasn’t even started any painting yet at this point. For a contracted 2 weeks job, turned out to be badly done and multiple lies told to us by Melissa and her supervisor (who was also a hooligan, called me and my wife and started swearing because we asked why is their paint quality so bad, threatened to cancel our job). I think it’s a company that people should avoid. Just sharing my experience so others can be informed. Hopefully, I am just one of the unlucky ones to have experienced their bad service. I welcome them to write their perspective and I will reply objectively to their work.

Mido n Melissa were sweat talkers bf taking money. Not sure where they got many good feedback on Carousell. I was told not to worry n they would do a good job with a free touch up service af the work is done. So i trust Mido n let him go when he left with a lot of touch up works and hv yet completed the painting for my living room n storeroom. While they asked full pymt first n even threathen not to turn up if pay late. Shouldn't you finish ur work first bf asking payment? I had to pay them as i paid 50% deposit n in order to not delay my reno plan. When asked them for a touch up trip, they started to ask for additional payment although they said it was free earlier. Again, threathen me they will not turn up if i donot pay. Aft almost 2 hrs dispute, i had no choice but pay them to avoid delay of my reno. But I asked them to settle on another day because we just ended our fire. But they threathen they were on the way n won't refund me if i donot open the door for him. Mido shouted n screamed throughout the discussion, claimed he had done extra without charging me. Why, i asked u for inspection bf quote me to avoid such dispute. Why complain now? It is a terrible experience. Even aft touch up, i still found many bubbles n peel-off holes on the?wall. The paint is so easy to drop off, so not sure whether he had painted a base-coat as promised. Here, i just want to alert other customers to be caution on their tricks n donot fall into the trap like me.

Mido and Melissa provided terrible service. They did a poor painting job, the painting was uneven, some parts were not painted, and even left terribly ugly patches on doors/pipe/other areas that are less obvious (see attached photos). They have a terrible attitude and did not want to make any touch ups or even provided any form of help or apology. They even demanded full payment before the completion of the work, which then allowed them to do a poor job without any consequences. I suggest everyone to avoid them.
