Space Define Interior

After speaking with a few other interior design firms we eventually decided to engage Derrick from Space Define. From the very first meeting till the day our keys were handed back to us, Derrick was conscientious, patient and meticulous in ensuring our home renovation was completed to perfection. The entire process was enjoyable as Derrick took our feedback seriously, then made practical and creative suggestions for our needs. For example, to keep our excessive belongings out of sight, he created a beautiful bay storage in each bedroom just beside the windows, which also functions as a bench for visitors. Moreover, he was able to create a kitchen island/bar for my mom who requested for one, when other IDs said it wasn't possible given the size of our kitchen. We also love the sleek additions of cove lighting and backlighting for the toilet mirror and bedroom headboard. To top it all off, he even went the extra mile to purchase kitchen appliances, tiles and bathroom items with us, and has brilliant after sales service for any minor touch ups that need to be done after the renovation was complete.

Kudos to Joann Ku whom we engaged as ID for our new 3BR in Lakeville, after 5 choices recommended to me. Amid our busy working and traveling schedules, she managed to answer all queries on time either by call or WhatsApp. Even though, we were the ones that have forgotten some decisions made and/or changed minds. As with all renovations, there were just too many nitty gritty stuff. Joann was patient and she listened, that is what's important. We went for Scandi style, she understood what we want but also what she thinks will be good for the design, the balance, nicely managed. We were very pleased with the end result. All the follow up during renovation and after, no matter on electrical, touch up paint, carpentry and others, they were all properly arranged and deliver good services on time. We would like to give her and Space Define 5 star review. Thank you.

Dear Joann, It was a pleasure working with you and much appreciation is indeed owed to your dedication and passion in helping us create our wonderful home. You offered us a guided process from design to reality. You showed simple and logical designs that really made us satisfied with the outcome. Your support in managing the other contractors and suppliers really showed professionalism not just in the work performed but as a person. Indeed your sense of capturing the essence of our requirements and style showed in your experience and knowledge. You provided invaluable guidance in every aspects of our renovation. We are now really proud of our new home and it is always a great feeling living out exactly what was conceptualised. We absolutely would recommend Space Define Interior anytime!

Aki and Derrick are friendly, professional and patient even though we have changed our designs multiple times especially the walk in closet?. We do not need to worry about the progression of the work throughout the Reno process as it’s all arranged smoothly. Derrick is also very experienced in technical area and will provide practical advise. I strongly recommend Space Define Interior to anyone looking to renovate their place.

It’s a great seamless experience! This is our first house and we are very pleased that Derrick have managed to combine our inputs and ideas with his knowledge into practical and visually pleasing design. Derrick is definitely a practical and merticulous advisor in the renovation of our d’nest unit. We will definitely recommend Space Define and Derrick to our friends and family. A trustworthy and honest brand.

We engaged Derrick to be our ID and he is the finest there is! Working with him is a most pleasant experience and he has a very keen eye for details and ensures that our designs are practical and beautiful. This being our first home, we were high in terms of our expectations yet clueless about many things and Derrick would patiently explain in details everything to us to Ensure that we understood everything! At the end of the day, we were so amazed at how our Home turned out! Highly recommended for all!

My wife and I were searching for a good ID back in April 2016 as we were about to get our keys in Aug. Now we are both happy home owners of a tastefully done up home. Recalling our journey in engaging Kendrick from Space Define, we met up with a total of 5 different IDs. We chose to engage Kendrick from Space Define interior because of the many we met, he was the most sincere, dedicated and professional as he was flexible with how we wanted to design our home. Some IDs we met didnt get back to us after the first meeting, and some could only offer standard packages. After which, during our 2nd meeting (before signing anything), he presented very detailed hand drawings to show us how our home woud be like. eg our walk in wardrobe, living room, with front view side view and top view. Eventually we engaged him and it was a good decision. Right from the start to the end of the process, Kendrick was responsible and could deliver what he promised. He is a detailed guy and had a good sense of design. He had a good understanding of how we wanted to design our home and could bring what we wanted to reality. I think it is important to engage a designer that can deliver what the clients want, being responsible and helpful at the same time. I'd definitely recommend Space Define and Kendrick's services to anyone who is looking to design your own comfy dream home. :) Kendrick, thanksssss!!

We had the pleasure of engaging Derrick and his co-ID Aki for the renovation of our new EC after meeting up with a few other firms. We requested for Derrick specifically after reading great reviews - no regrets! Being newbies, we were clueless, indecisive and barely knew where to begin. Derrick was very patient in his initial meet-ups with us to understand our likes/dislikes. He’s a true veteran - very creative and experienced, and always offered stylish and practical ideas that fit our theme seamlessly. Our renovation was smooth with only very minimal hiccups that were rectified quickly when they were brought up. Derrick was ever professional, friendly, good-tempered and open to listening to our concerns/additional requests along the way. He was very responsive and also texted us photo updates when we were too busy to head down ourselves. He delivered a house that fit what we’d envisioned within the projected timeframe and our budget. Quality of all carpentry works, texture wall and lighting (his contacts) are also of high standard. Even after the final handover and payment, he was dedicated enough to make another trip down to personally clean up some leftover stains that we highlighted to him. Thank you Derrick, you always said that your own personal unofficial warranty is lifelong, we really appreciate that! :) In all, no regrets from us for choosing Derrick and Aki from Space Define Interior. Thank you both for giving us the very first home (and a very beautifully done one) that we can call our own!
