Stylerider Pte Ltd is a small Singapore interior design firm with a team of seven and eight recorded projects, positioned mainly in the HDB and condominium market. Most of its listed work is new-build (seven of eight), centred on 4-room and 5-room HDB flats and two condominium projects, with recorded project prices of roughly $35,000 to $60,000. Its portfolio spans contemporary, modern, minimalist and eclectic styles. The firm may suit homeowners with new BTO or condominium projects who want a smaller team within a moderate budget, though its verified credentials are limited.

Strengths
Consistent design ratings The firm's highest average rating is for design (4.8), with an overall rating of 4.7 across five reviews. Its ratings are fairly even across workmanship, service and value, all at 4.6.
Focused HDB and condominium track record Most projects are 4-room and 5-room HDB flats, with two condominium projects, which indicates a clear focus on the residential segment most common in Singapore.
Clear budget positioning Average recorded new-build prices sit at about $41,750 for 4-room HDB and $48,500 for 5-room HDB, suggesting a consistent mid-range budget band.
Things to take note
Limited verifiable credentials The profile does not list an established year, accreditations, awards or showrooms, so homeowners may need to verify the firm's background directly.
Small sample and some data inconsistencies With eight projects and five reviews, the track record is limited, and some project records appear inconsistent, such as a 4-room project count that differs between summary and project list, and an implausibly large area value for one 5-room project.

“Creative idea with practical and good design”

Chose Yong Yi as my designer as during proposal stage, he'd came out with many sketches in order to help me visualise what I want for my home Yong Yi was easy to talk with and had came out with creative ideas for my home which are practical yet good looking Workmanship of their carpenters are very good, cushions were nicely wrapped and there were no rough edges Budget was well-communicated and managed along the way, I did not exceed my budget as per what I initially planned

Design

Definitely, it’s practical for daily use and storage meanwhile it was good looking so that match the design

Workmanship

The carbines is nice and good without affect and well wrap for the cushion without rough edge. The final result is satisfying

Customer Service

The designer was Very patience and friendly designer. Even though along the way we keep asking question and idea. Hahahaha

Value for Money

For this price I feel it’s worth it and with the material they use it. I got nothing to complain with :)

“Thank you so much for creating the dream home for my family!!!”

When we bought a resale EA, our greatest worry was how we can fully utilise the space, revamp the whole house and yet not burning a hole in our pockets. We were introduced to Jacksen by a friend and no regrets at all. Everyone fears the hidden costs and the non stop increase in the renovation amount. However, we are so impressed that given the super large scale of our renovation, Jacksen kept to our budget and work within it. There was no hard selling and no empty promises. He is efficient and fast and will answer any questions posted to him. Most importantly, he remembers every details we told him and get them done asap. It was an enjoyable and stress free journey with Stylerider and Jacksen as he settles everything possible for us. I am a very demanding customer and I am very pleased with his professionalism and Stylerider's good and value for money service. Thank you so much for creating the dream home for my family!!! Will definitely tell everyone about my wonderful experience!!!

“Sub-standard Service & Poor Workmanship - Totally unsatisfied”

I had bad experience engaging the ID firm STYLERIDER INTERIOR DESIGN, the Home Space INTERIOR Designer/ID is Terence Tan. Finding the right ID is a highly intuitive thing so one to have self-access, are we convinced after talking with the ID and their proposal etc. Very often before an agreement was signed, we were swept away by their smooth-talking. I am not different from anyone too, I was moved by his desperate desire to close a deal & prove himself with promises laid out to me. During my discussion with him, I sense his inexperience but out of his sincerity and desperation, I award him the reno job out of kindness. I gave him the benefits of the doubt despite his claim to have at least 4 years of ID experience. After the renovation commenced, the process proved me right and the truth left me with my jaw-dropping. Based on his conduct as an ID, he is obviously very inexperience, irresponsible & ignorant. I know ID usually goes on-site to give instructions on what to do etc. and I don’t expect him to be there witnessing the sub-con doing their work. But I would expect him to check on work done after every stage of work-in-progress to ensure there is nothing left out or defects and work not well done but this is not fulfilled as promised. As an ID this is the basic responsibility, if he is there to do a check on every stages of work completed, it could have been rectified and avoid unnecessary delay and dispute. I make regular trips to my flat to spot for defects & jobs not well done. Not only was he irresponsible, ignorant his misjudgement is really a big problem. What proofs his lack of knowledge and incompetence is he can’t even justify the size of a spotlight & the driver depth to be fixed onto the bedside open shelf despite his carpenter’s advice. Unfortunately, he is not apologetic for his attitude but only to find reasons to cover himself up. The mishaps I encountered – - Toilet wall tiles and service yard tiles were tiled up despite part of it was chipped off visibility. - Bedside open shelve with spotlight – the opening depth is too shallow for spotlight driver to be fixed in causing the spotlight dropped off. - Kitchen dish rack door dropped due to the inappropriate weight of the hydraulic pump used to support the door thus causing the flip door to give way. I am totally dissatisfied with his service especially the tiling workmanship is the worse I have ever come across. In conclusion, I am extremely regretful to have recommended my sister to use his service before my unit is completed to justify the entire workmanship, his reliability and responsibility. I truly feel sorry to witness my sister’s encounter with problems and mishaps which are far more serious than mine. Till today, her 1-bedder condo (taken into consideration to offset 1 month for peak period in Dec 2018) she has yet to move in. This is absolutely ridiculous. My sincere and heartfelt advice to other homeowners to make informed reviews, decisions, better to take more time to scrutinise than be regretful. I believe this quote is commonly encountered by consumers – “ Overpromise, Under deliver “. I will never refer anyone to use his service at all.

“Poor carpentry”

Bathroom water seeped into bedroom. Was told the waterproofing warranty only covers if the leak goes to below floor. The ID insisted that it was due to hole on my walls?????? But my entire toilet was done by them. Ended up paid another 1k to redo the waterproofing for entire toilet and include walls ☹️ all this less than 1 year after the renovation. Cupboard door falling out after 1 year after renovation as well. Alignment not well done. The screw was not installed deep enough and falls out sometime after tightening. My living room covid constantly has this piece of material popping out. Carpenter came to redo it at least 2x but still it pops out. Told me the weather hot and cold causing it. But none of the other cupboards got this issue leh. Think the carpentry wasn’t well done or perhaps I’m just unlucky, reno done during covid period back in 2019-2020, kana the not so good workers. It was a sad and disappointing reno for me.
