A neutral white is used as the core colour for the joineries throughout the house. This enables any colour or furnishing to stand out, and allows the client to have interchangeable colours within the house that she can easily swap in or out. We added gold chandeliers, as well as gold furnishings and fixtures, throughout the house to create the luxurious element that the client wanted. To balance this, we added earthy tones like a dark grey sofa and a beige headboard to make it feel more homely. As this apartment is smaller in size, we believe that having restraint and not adding too many elements was the best way to go so that the apartment remained open and spacious
