For an interior designer, a renovation may be one of many projects. For us, this was our first major renovation and the one home we were putting our hearts, hopes and hard-earned money into. We are so thankful that we entrusted it to Oscar from Moda Interior Design at Gambas ARK. Throughout the renovation, Oscar was responsive, accommodating and attentive to our requests. He took the time to listen and understand what we wanted for our home. Despite our list of needs and wishes, his quotation was very reasonable. His approach made us feel comfortable sharing our ideas, and we always felt that our views mattered. One thing we especially appreciate is his willingness to try something new. We wanted a mihrab in our home, something deeply meaningful to us as a Muslim family. Although Oscar had never designed one before, he listened to our vision, embraced the challenge and brought it to life beautifully. From the intricate geometric patterns to the softly illuminated arch and side panels, the finished space feels peaceful and special. Seeing an idea we had shared become a beautiful part of our home means so much to us. Oscar also takes great pride in the quality of his work. As the renovation was nearing completion, he carried out a thorough check and noticed colour inconsistencies in some of the vinyl flooring. He was unhappy with the disparity and had the contractor redo the flooring. What stayed with us was that he took the initiative to put it right himself. That gave us tremendous reassurance that he held the work to his own standards and cared about the home he was handing over to us. He also understood how important our timeline was. He remained mindful of it throughout the process, kept to the agreed schedule and delivered on his promise. For a family preparing to move into a new home, being able to count on that meant a great deal. Beyond the renovation itself, the friendship we developed with Oscar made this journey even more memorable. We started as an interior designer and his customers, but over the months, our conversations became easy and familiar, as though we had known one another for years. By the time we were sitting down for a meal together in our completed home, it felt like welcoming a good friend. Thank you, Oscar, for your patience, commitment and the care you put into our home. We will be living with and appreciating your work every day, and we are grateful to have gone through this milestone with you. If you are looking for an interior designer who listens, honours his commitments and takes pride in getting things right, we wholeheartedly recommend Oscar. Engaged Ashley Chee for my first home! If possible, I would certainly give more than 5 stars! From the very beginning, Ashley understood all our needs perfectly. She was able to give us a design right from the beginning that 💯 chop stamp that both my husband and I like. I was also so amazed at her design choices and colour choices because they were literally what we wanted! And she even matched exactly the furniture colours! Moreover her design was very realistic and practical - perfect for someone OCD like me. Ashley also delivered the project timely, attend to our queries and needs asap. Engaged Eunice from Sky Creation Pte Ltd for our 4-room BTO (Scandinavian look, open kitchen). The window-bay settee flowing into the TV console turned out exactly like the 3D renders and is the highlight of our living room. Communication was prompt and transparent throughout. The quotation and variation orders were clear, and Eunice flagged any price change on the spot, so there were no surprises. Handover came ahead of schedule, and the few minor cosmetic defects were fixed promptly. Highly recommended.
