ACCEPT GREATNESS! Listen very carefully, I'll make this very easy for you: This is probably the best freaking interior designer company in Singapore. I am almost certain that if we had chosen another company to go with then we would have had a renovation nightmare. This company is efficient, passionate, thorough in their work, and hardworking. Their ideas strike a perfect balance between style and function. Our place was left practically unchanged and unloved from 1996, when it was first built, and it has been completely transformed into something completely unrecognisable. It has been brought into the 21st Century. It is something we love and are looking forward to calling our forever home. Yes, it comes at a cost, but a cost we see as worth it, for we have a much nicer home and we have probably added more value to the home than the renovation itself cost. Reasons to choose cozyspace ◦ They’re passionate about their job! Why go with people who are in it just for the pay check when you can go with people who actually love what they’re doing? Of course you’ll always get a better experience this way. ◦ They’re not cowboys; they’re experienced and knowledgeable, giving great design and practical advice ◦ When proposing new ideas, they draw upon their comprehensive past portfolio of projects to show us a real life example that they have done themselves. This is very reassuring and gives clarity to their proposed idea ◦ They are not pushy in upselling or getting you to sign up with them, but don’t worry if you want this, there are plenty of other companies who are hahaha ◦ They don’t shy away from the inevitable defects that come with a project as large as ours. They don’t go into denial mode, instead they tackle it head on and get the job done. And this makes sense in any job that involves construction. Like they told us from the start, building works can never be 100% perfect, but it's about going through it together after and making good whatever defects there may be ◦ They meet deadlines – we said we’d really like to be in our home by CNY if possible, and they delivered. If you go with cowboys, you’ll get delay after delay after delay, I'm sure of it ◦ They have conviction and stand behind their design ideas – Steve's idea was slightly more "out there" than what others had proposed, involving the taking down and rebuilding of many walls. We were initially very taken aback by that, but the more we thought about it, the more it made sense. Today, we can't imagine our home being any other way! The layout makes so much more sense in terms of visuals, the walking flow, etc. Something we also really like from the beginning as well: when speaking to IDs to get a feeling from them, see some proposed ideas, Steve was the only one who paid close attention to the pictures and layout we sent over. A great discussion was done over just one session. Some others gave us long talks about what their company stands for (uh helpful I guess but not really what we're there for), and others just gave us lots of hot air over three sessions with nothing to stand for in the end! We have high standards as our families all work in the building trade in one role or capacity or another, so we know how work should be done, what good work is etc, and they managed to meet our demands and expectations. We are most grateful and thankful for the service we received. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a renovation and we would certainly use them again on any future projects.
