D&I Design Interior

After getting quotations from some other companies, we decided to engage with D&I for their affordable renovation package. Our designers, Kaison and Dino were very transparent in all discussions and they always do their best to accommodate with us. We gave them some rough ideas of what we wanted the design to be and left the rest to them. Kaison and Dino would always come down to the site from time to time, to check on renovation progress and would always update us accordingly. There were some top ups which was unavoidable but Kaison and Dino ensured that we did not go over budget. Upon completion of the renovation, we are very pleased with the results. Their carpentry workmanship is really of a good quality and their electrical department is equally good too. We highly recommend new homeowners to consider D&I as your trusted ID!

D&I design was not the first company we approached for pricing quote. Pricing and trusted company was our priority in our renovation journey. We are glad that we had made the right choice with no regrets. We were given a ballpark figure from the rest of the companies for our renovation cost. Which we need to buffer 20%-50% more for the initial bill. Which we are not comfortable with. D&I design were very transparent with all our cost and work within our affordable range. We had good relation partnering with Darren to renovation our resale house. A schedule timeline was provided to us stating what work are we expecting to be done. Constantly he update us on the progression and keeping the common corridor area clean after each work was carried out. Importantly we received good comments from our families and friends that we have a very welcoming home. Thanks Darren!

Darren understood our requirements clearly. The follow ups and coordinations were done promptly. The kind of service quality provided was really out of the world - something I felt is rare to find in this industry. As a big family of 6 as well as a huge sqm space to consider, we appreciate your thoughtfulness and patience with you through this process. Would like to update after reno photos, ( before ) reno photo can be view on our other review. During reno period, Mr Darren update us about the progress daily that makes us felt satisfied. We dun think there's such a hardworking person exist, haha. Anyway between this period of course there's some hipccup but it was resolved by Darren on the particular days as both of us are working so couldn't draw much time to settle it. We are bless to met someone so responsible. Below are some photos after renovation we would like to share. My husband and I would highly recommend D&I Design Interior – Darren Lim to anyone seeking help with their dream home renovation projects. Darren is so professional, detail oriented, extremely helpful with suggestions on how to use my budget most effectively, reliable, always put his client’s interest first, take his work seriously and it shows. My whole house of renovation was a big job. It’s all went very well, and we are very happy with the end results (just like the 3D pictures as he shown us). The quality of workmanship was excellent, and Darren were always true to his word in all aspects, including showing up when promised. We are pleased with his work and appreciate that he can get us on his tight schedule (during this COVID period) on the time frame that we have requested. Hubby and me had search for few firm for our 4 room resale flat. After received each of their quotation. We decide to engaged D&I design interior. Mr Darren's sincerity and professionalism make us decided to engage him. During meet up, he explain everything clearly and even gave us some brilliant ideas. To be honest, previous our bto reno wasn't pleasant so our main concern is the workmanship. However for now we can only upload ( before ) photos. After reno complete, we will upload ( after ) photos. Darren was the excellent choice after his first Reno work at our AMK BTO flat. And now we moved into a maisonette, since were only comfortable with him being our designer/contractor. Mainly because he knows this industry well and he’s downright sincere and honest about the works that can be done and cannot be done. Yes, price is costly but, he delivers what he promises. He was always around to make sure the workers are completing the tasks. Even if we are not able to come down to inspect, he takes the extra effort to be at site and send us timely updates. If I’m moving again and he’s still in this industry, I will still choose him. He became part of our family after the first Reno work for us. Thanks Darren & Team.

We had several meetings and quotes from several IDs but decided to go with D&I. Darren came to the first meeting to ask for the requirements and quickly worked on the sketch and came to explain to us 2 weeks later. He is very experienced and gave good recommendations/ tips during the several discussions and choosing of materials/colors. Project was well managed and despite starting close to CNY, the project was able to be completed on schedule to move in.

Most important for a reno or ID firm is to deliver and provide peace of mind, thankfully we found D&I design ID for our home renovation. Darren brought us through the renovation and explained every process of the work clearly. He provided practical advice during the design phase. The material / design selection had been smooth as well with actual sample shown and visit to showroom. Constant update on the work completed or WIP during the renovation. we’re grateful with the design, workmanship and timely completion despite our tight timeline with the handling over of our sold apartment.
