“Thoughtful and practical design with a human touch!”
We enjoyed working with Johnson, and are genuinely grateful for how much care and thought he put into our home. He is very detail-oriented and always spots things early, whether it’s measurements, design practicality or usability issues. He is also upfront and honest about costs and explains the trade-offs clearly, which helped us make decisions with careful consideration. Johnson's industry experience also strengthened his recommendations, many of which were things we wouldn’t have thought to consider on our own. He listened closely to what we wanted, but also suggested creative ideas that truly elevated our vision in meaningful ways. He also checked in consistently, and would readily hop on a call or send a detailed video explanation whenever something was complex, to explain the constraints and possible workarounds. This made the whole process much easier because we always understood what was happening and why certain decisions needed to be made, even when not onsite. Johnson's passion for user-centred design also shone through when he anticipated and kept our future needs in mind (e.g. adding in toilet ramps for easier accessibility for old age), which gave us confidence that our home would work for us long term. You can feel his sincere touch in the way he approaches his work. He is hardworking, manages timelines as best as he can, and coordinates closely with vendors to keep things moving. Overall, we felt very supported from start to end. We’re thankful for his dedication and would happily recommend him!
