Elysian Design Studio

Our ID was Greyson, and we found him to be responsible, responsive, friendly, easy to work with, made good recommendations. Most importantly, he was very quick to follow up on any defects we subsequently found after we moved in (some won't be possible to notice before moving in). IDs like that seem to be in short supply these days. The other members of his team, eg site supervisor David, carpenter, electrician etc were all also easy to work with. Highly recommended!

When we first started looking for an interior design firm, we were quite overwhelmed by the number of options available and the horror stories you often hear about home renovations. However, from our very first consultation with Elysian, all our worries completely vanished. They stood out immediately due to their high level of professionalism, transparency, and genuine enthusiasm for our project. Our interior designer, Raymond and Aloysius, were absolute magic to work with. They spent a lot of time getting to know our lifestyle, our personal aesthetic, and our daily routines. Instead of just pushing standard design packages on us, they listened intently to our specific requirements and translated our vague ideas into a cohesive, stunning concept. What impressed us the most was how they managed to balance breathtaking aesthetics with everyday practicality. Every single corner of our new home has a purpose. The space planning is incredibly efficient, the storage solutions are brilliant and seamless, and the materials chosen are both premium and durable. They truly turned our house into a beautiful sanctuary without sacrificing functionality. Throughout the entire renovation journey, the communication was flawless. We were kept updated constantly with photos, videos, and progress reports. Even when minor, unexpected site issues arose—which is completely normal in any renovation project—the team handled them instantly and professionally, always presenting us with practical solutions rather than just problems. This gave us immense peace of mind. Furthermore, we were incredibly stressed about the timeline and budget, but Elysian managed everything perfectly. The workmanship of their carpentry, tiling, and painting is top-notch and refined. Best of all, they completed the entire project strictly on schedule and exactly within our agreed budget, with absolutely no hidden costs or unpleasant surprises at the end. We are so grateful to the entire team for their hard work, dedication, and impeccable attention to detail. They didn't just build a house; they truly brought our dream vision to life. If you are looking for a reliable, creative, and highly professional interior design company that actually delivers on its promises, look no further than Elysian. They are worth every single penny, and we would recommend them to our family and friends without any hesitation!

I engaged Suresh, Senior Designer from Elysian Design Studio, when some of the tiles in my room had popped. I decided to take the opportunity to renovate the entire room, and I’m really glad I engaged Suresh for the job. From the start, Suresh was very hands-on and responsible. He came down personally to assess the site, gave me his professional input, and, knowing that I was busy, also helped to source all the materials needed. This made the whole process much easier and more convenient for me. I could probably have gotten a contractor to do the job at a lower cost, but I specifically chose to engage a professional ID because I wanted the work to be done properly and efficiently. Suresh definitely delivered on that. The works included hacking out the old tiles, laying new tiles, plastering, painting, carpentry installation and cleaning and notably everything was completed within just 5 days. I was especially impressed with how efficiently the whole project was managed. As we were still living in the home, Suresh was also very mindful of the surrounding areas. He briefed us on which areas needed to be used during the works and made sure proper protection was put in place to minimise any impact on the rest of the house. What stood out most to me was Suresh’s efficiency, responsibility and willingness to provide professional input throughout the process. He took ownership of the job and was proactive in making sure things were done properly. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience and the finished work. I would definitely recommend Suresh and Elysian Design Studio to anyone looking for a responsible, efficient and hands-on designer.

We came across Elysian Design Studio during a reno fair, and right from our first conversation with Julie Low, we clicked right away. Her down-to-earth demeanor, practical advice, and clear design sense stood out amidst the sea of firms at the expo. Once the project kicked off, Julie proved to be just as meticulous with execution as she was during our initial chat. She took time to understand our layout constraints and offered smart space-planning solutions that maximized both storage and natural light. Her project management was top-notch: timelines were tightly managed, budget transparency was maintained without hidden costs, and rectifications were addressed swiftly. Heartfelt thanks to Julie and the team for delivering a smooth, stress-free renovation journey!

We had a great experience with Elysian Design Studio (subsidiary of Conquest Design Group). Highly recommended if you're a young family working on tight budget and wanted a straightforward and good quality service. We had a vacated house, then the renovation work involved demolishing the old kitchen, then building up the cabinetry for living room, kitchen, platform bed and study table for master room. Miscellaneous work included electrical, plumbing, parquet varnishing, grouting, wall painting. In total, we spent about $37k, with $30k on the initial bill and $7k on the variation orders (VOs). Billing was transparent, well itemized, and honest. We did comparison with 3 more IDs and found that Elysian pricing was cheaper. Contractors were competent, showed up on time and delivered. Special mention to our ID Fabian Kwok for seeing through the project. We gave him a tight deadline: to finish the renovation in less than 4 weeks, and he delivered. From the start, he made the effort to come to our place for discussion and planning. He also prepared SketchUp floor plan and 3D wireframe for us to imagine the final work and make sizing adjustments before the 3D full rendering, because we wouldn't have time to make multiple edits on the full rendering. He's also budget conscious and informs us well on different choices, pros and cons, and the costs for each. He gave us goodwill discount, and even shared with us how much he could earn from this project. He admitted that it might make him look bad, but to us that's sincerity snd honesty. In short, he tries to get us the best looking results with manageable costs. As the renovation kick starts and additional work is needed, he informed us early, was transparent, and discussed with us for the best solution. There are times when he made (small) mistakes like forgetting some nuances of the quotation, but he owned up to it and did not charge us if it's genuinely his mistake. When it comes to liaising with contractors, he did well and was able to organise multiple contractors to work on different things on the same day to meet the tight deadline. In summary, Fabian does not over-promise or does showy things. He's honest, sincere and hardworking. He won't give you ID horror stories. If there's anything to improve on, I would ask the carpenter to be more involved with the measurements and planning. His workmanship is very good, but some mistakes could have been prevented if he came for one more remeasurement and gave us an updated drawing after we confirmed the appliances and our additional requirements. Fortunately, because we followed the carpentry installation closely and pointed out issues early, no follow-up fix nor redo was needed.

So many negative reviews about IDs, I’m very fortunate to have found Julie Low of Elysian. When we first met, she walked me through the process, showed me the different options based on my budget. As the renovation progresses there were several hiccups but all were professionally handled to my satisfaction. She ensured that the schedule will be met by arranging parallel renovation work. I’ll confidently recommend her to anyone who needs a good ID.

We had an amazing experience working with Suresh as our interior designer and couldn’t be happier with the outcome! After speaking to several IDs, we felt that Suresh stood out because he was able to work within our budget without compromising on creativity. He listened carefully to what we wanted, offered thoughtful ideas, and came up with practical design solutions that made our home both beautiful and functional. What impressed us the most was his dedication in accommodating our incredibly tight timeline. Despite the pressure, Suresh remained calm, organised, and solution-oriented throughout the renovation. He coordinated closely with the contractors, kept us updated every step of the way, responded promptly to our questions, and always made us feel assured that everything was under control. Renovations can be stressful, but Suresh made the entire journey so much smoother. It was clear that he genuinely cared about delivering a home that we would love, not just completing another project. His attention to detail, patience, and commitment to quality really shone through. Thanks to his hard work and willingness to go the extra mile, we were able to move into our home on time, and the final result exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find someone who is not only talented but also so sincere, reliable, and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for an interior designer who is honest, creative, responsive, and truly puts his clients first, we highly recommend Suresh. Thank you once again for making our dream home a reality—we’re so grateful for all your hard work!

I had an excellent experience working with Kim Hoe on my home renovation project. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand my ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions that helped turn my vision into reality. The final result exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. What impressed me the most was his dedication and commitment even after the renovation was completed. Whenever I had questions or needed advice, he responded quickly and was always willing to help. For example, I noticed a small gap in one of my kitchen cabinets after installation. Kim Hoe came down personally to inspect the issue and fixed it himself, making sure everything was done properly. Another experience that really stood out was when my air-conditioning installer, who was from a different company, made a mistake with the piping. Although it wasn't his responsibility, Kim Hoe personally came down to speak with the installers and helped resolve the issue. His willingness to step in and coordinate with another contractor showed how much he genuinely cared about ensuring everything in my home was completed correctly. Throughout the entire process, his communication was excellent. He was patient, responsive, and always ready to answer any questions I had. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to delivering quality workmanship gave me great confidence from start to finish. I truly appreciate all the time, effort, and dedication Kim Hoe put into this project. He transformed my ideas into a beautiful and practical home, and his outstanding after-sales support made the entire experience even better. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, talented, and trustworthy interior designer.
