“Job Well Done! (supercede previous review)”
My house was done by Jack from Neu Konceptz. In total, we looked at 3 ID firms before we decided to engage Jack. The main considerations that we looked at is the design, cost and most importantly, the designer who is handling the project. As we are in the service industry, we know that the key person to the project is very crucial. Even on our first meeting with Jack, we could feel the chemistry between us and him which is very important to us as this is our first time renovating our house. The reno process was a pretty smooth and fun one I would say. Jack would listen and understand our needs and lifestyle before he did his planning. He would give us directions like what to buy and when to buy so that the on-going works can proceed on. What we like about him is his designs and his sense of responsibility. He is not the sort that does over-promises. If there's anything that he is unsure of, he would always check before getting back to us. Design wise, we are pretty impressed with the overall outlook and quality of the place. It turned out 95% close to the concept drawings. Jack is a person that pays close attention to fine details. There were quite a few instances that he pointed out some details that we would not even take notice. We are glad that we engaged Jack as we heard too many horror stories from friends and online. For us, we would definitely engage Jack again for our next house.
We love the design of our house.
Workmanship is good.
Jack is quite responsive. He would usually get back to our queries within a short span of time, sometimes even late at night. Even though the project has been handed over, Jack will still response to our calls for some minor touch ups.
Based on the design, materials used and the quality of work done, I felt that my renovation job was worth the value of what I paid.
