I was doing a lot of research on looking to find a trustworthy ID and also be professional on my tight budget of $8k for my new 3rm bto. Kiasu me, sent out and received abt 7quotes. 5 co gave me sky rocket price for just reno on kitchen n living. Being realistic, i just ask for kitchen reno, painting, window grills, the basic. Chloe though i did not engage her at 1st, gave me loads of advice n i throw her so many questions as a 1st timer doing reno. She was so professional n patient in answering everything to help me make sure the ID i find meets my needs. After bothering her for abt 3wks, i ask her again if she can do a better price. Even though its just a little higher than my intended budget, i finally decided to confirm her as my ID. U may think she use hard sell or under cut or give crappy work. But no, throughout the 1mth reno, she is constantly checking n updating me. As a designer myself, i tell her my ideas n whether is doable. Complete honesty. Yes mean yes. No means don't waste money on fancy things n keep to my budget. To me honesty n creativity is what all homeowners want. No sudden drop u bombshell n tell u must add this n that that end up costing so much more. For my tiny budget, i am truly a happy n grateful customer. Definately will recommend a responsible ID like chloe. Will take more photos once cleaning is done.

It took around 1 week for us to decide if Fione was the one we needed for the house. We met through a friend's recommendation, and I have not regretted my decision since. Living with my two young boys and husband, we wanted a warm fuzzy family atmosphere in our new home, and I believe that she did just that. I am satisfied with the outcome, as the interior designer was responsible and follow up service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend Unimax to more of my friends.

My experience with this company has been very poor. There were no issues prior to signing a contract, however once work commenced, many issues that were left unaddressed and the project manager became difficult to contact. The workmanship was ordinary and it seemed that many of the contractors were untrained in customer service with a couple that could only be described as downright rude. Unfortunately after spending >$20k on a kitchen renovation the cabinet surfaces have discoloured due to (normal) UV exposure, and the company has taken the position that this is not a warranty item with the business owner refusing to discuss options with me. I would not recommend this firm to others.

Their ID did renovation above my unit and damaged my false ceiling. Common matter but they very reluctant to take responsibility. Contacted the designer about the damage, his initial reply was not be responsible for the damage, instead asked to come and check first. However he could not provide a date and time for coming. When I called the company to escalate this, their reply was to complain to HDB. I am so shocked with such response. Irresponsible company, no wonder their ID also same attitude.

Rubbish workmanship, irresponsible designers. Whole splew of fake positive reviews. They did the works for my unit and only when I was selling my place did I realize that they did not file the entirety of the works with HDB! I could not handover the flat because HDB refused to certify their checklist! WTF! And when I called them to complain about it they simply ignored the issue! I had to engage a PE and another contractor to make up for their mistakes!

I meet unimax in the Asia home Renovation exhibition. As we were looking for a ID for our new place. We were talk to get a quote without obligation. But eventually we were corner and have to place a $500/- booking fee for the offer which was later found that they are having it every single day. We eventually decided to drop them as we found that, those promises in the exhibition will eventually taken out. Prices they talk on the table and reflected in the quotation are different. The ID have little knowledge on renovation and can give little advise and everything to your request is NO. So we only get a few quotations which we spend $500/- which we were not able to get a refund after we cancel their service.
