Hi everyone, want to check what is the general consensus regarding purchasing furniture from Shopee. I have been purchasing some smaller accessories such as cups, kitchen accessories, tableware and they have been quite good quality considering that they are much cheaper than most of the prices in local shops, maybe except IKEA. (Like 20 to 40% cheaper usually)

I am considering to make purchases of bigger furniture pieces such as a side table, and possibly a couple more dinning chairs. Anyone gotten those from Shopee and tried their quality?

Hi Locus I did furnish quite a lot of my house with pieces purchased from Shopee. Ranging from shoeracks to some larger sized moveable wardrobes. Based on my experience there quality of the items are considered to be pretty good, overall they are good quality and value for their price.

Also considering that the shipping fees are low (usually free) and with the included cash back, it sweetens the deal even more. Another benefit for me is that it delivers to my house, which helps for them being bulky peices.

One 'con' which i can think of is it might be harder to get a resolution from the seller if any of the pieces are damaged, considering their size it could be hard to send back. And i have seen feedback from a small number of users that some sellers simply ignores post-sales support. However Shopee themselves do provide pretty good customer support for returns/refunds.
