We were very careful in choosing the right interior designer right from the start. Out of about ten whom we talked to, John Kow from Sky Creation struck us as the most creative and yet accommodative to our needs and preferences. He also seemed the most trusted in being able to deliver within our desired time frame, and at a very good price. While designing and choosing materials, John would recommend but not in an overly imposing way, as he still listens to our preferences and tries to accommodate while keeping to a coherent theme. He is definitely very accommodative to our changing requirements as he assumed upfront that requirements would change. He was willing to support us in some tasks that would usually be deemed out of scope, such as helping to dismantle a chandelier at our old home and installing it at the new house. Speed is definitely one of John's many strengths. Among the interior designers who met us onsite during the selection phase, he was the only one who arranged for a few of his subcontractors to meet us together, giving us confidence in their ability to meet our desired time frame. Throughout the renovation, he would coordinate very quickly with his subcontractors to get things done, especially when we make any changes to our requirements. John cares about quality. If he spots anything that is not up to standard, he would ask the carpenter, tiler, painter, or other subcontractors to fix it. Even after signing off on completion, he still continues to take good care of anything that needs to be fixed or added. His integrity and meticulousness in accounting can also be trusted, as he even refunded a substantial amount to us for works that we changed our minds about. In conclusion, we were highly impressed by John's creativity, his ability to align with our aesthetic tastes, and his strong project management ability to deliver on time despite many changing requirements from us. We will definitely want to engage him again in the future.

We had a really good experience working with Sabrina for our first home renovation. She was very accommodating to our requests and always had a “make things right” attitude. We felt very comfortable sharing our opinions, ideas and concerns with her throughout the process. She was also flexible when we changed our minds and quick to arrange rectification works whenever there were defects. The renovation stayed on schedule and was completed within the agreed two months. The quotation was clear and transparent, and she always tried her best to help us stay within budget. Overall, Sabrina is friendly, responsible and willing to go the extra mile. We are very happy with how our home turned out and would definitely recommend her to others.

Great experience with Xiang Wei and meets the expectations that we have for our new home. We would propose ideas and Xiang Wei will advise on the feasibility and further improve the idea. Xiang Wei also managed the entire timeline well, reno completed ahead of our planned move-in date without compromising on overall quality and works. Unavoidably there are some areas that requires touch ups but Xiang Wei responded promptly and arranged for necessary rectifications.

If you're looking for an interior designer who genuinely treats your home like it's their own project, I can't recommend Sky Creation Asia enough, especially Eunice Lim and Ness Tan. From day one, they weren't just there to execute whatever ideas we had. They guided us through what made sense, what didn't, and even what was technically possible but simply wasn't worth doing. That kind of honesty is something we really appreciated because you know they're looking out for you, not just trying to maximize the renovation budget. Our renovation timeline was extremely tight, but somehow they managed the entire schedule, coordinated all the different trades, and still delivered amazing workmanship. We kept expecting something to go wrong because that's what everyone tells you to expect during a renovation, but it never really happened. One thing that genuinely surprised us was how responsive Eunice and Ness were. We were getting replies late into the night, even around 11pm. Part of me wonders if their HR department would be thrilled about that, but as a customer, it gave us so much peace of mind. We were never left wondering what was happening or when we'd hear back. What impressed us even more was how they went above and beyond, even for things that technically weren't their responsibility. We had several external suppliers that we sourced ourselves, and when those suppliers messed up, Eunice and Ness stepped in, coordinated with them, chased them, and even gave them a proper scolding on our behalf. They fought for us as if they were managing their own home. The passion they have for their work really shows. They don't just bring your ideas to life, they contribute ideas that make your home even better. Throughout the renovation, they constantly suggested ideas and design improvements that we would never have thought of ourselves. You can genuinely tell they're designers who care about creating a beautiful home, not just people doing a job for a paycheck. People always say you need to visit your renovation site regularly because you'll definitely spot defects that the contractors missed. We did exactly that, expecting to play inspector. But almost every time we noticed something minor, Eunice would simply show us her conversation with the contractor and tell us it was already being rectified. They were consistently one step ahead of us. Instead of us pointing out problems, they had usually already found them and arranged for them to be fixed before we even asked. And that's just the renovation itself. Their after-sales support deserves a review on its own. Whenever we had any post-renovation issues, whether it was paint touch-ups, plumbing, or questions about the carpentry, the response was almost immediate. One example was when we discovered that some of the HDB-provided vinyl flooring needed replacing after a closer inspection. I expected maybe one or two workers to come down, but instead an entire team arrived and finished everything in under an hour. Another time, we had questions about one of the carpentry cabinets and how to remove the door from its hinges. Eunice immediately activated her team, and the head carpenter was at our place within 30 minutes to explain everything to us personally. That level of after-sales support is something we rarely hear about, and it made us feel that they genuinely cared even after the renovation was completed. Renovating a home is expensive and stressful, and for most of us it's something we'll only do once or twice in our lives. Having people you can genuinely trust makes all the difference. Looking back, we never felt like we were just another customer. We always felt that Eunice and Ness genuinely cared about getting everything right.
