Saw this IG story when i already pay deposit then i know siao liao. The wife’s (denise) insider information already say the husband who’s the lead designer jaded and the tone they use is blaming type. Was not expecting much, just want to finish ASAP and i also cannot pull out cus signed contract and pay dep liao. Ended up with delays also, not as bad as the others i think, cus i try to follow up closely and i think the trick is really must micromanage them but it is rly taxing. Just felt the need to share becuz the service i received not exactly the best especially towards the end. Dun rly feel valued as a client but thank god my reno finally ended.

Our claims are of bare minimum - only for undelivered items. • We have emailed him multiple times offering him options of paying by instalments, but he chose to run off with our money and refused to reply. After speaking to the ID, Rick, we were told that we will be hearing from them in two weeks. FIVE weeks have past. We texted, multiple times, in the group chat set up by Livspace (in which Shim was also in) but there was still no response. This is despite them having read our messages. Even if they did not want to do our business, they should at least have the courtesy to inform us, instead of making promises and making us wait. We are thankful Livspace showed us their true colours even before we decided on engaging them. We would’ve suffered even higher costs and damages had they responded and ghost us after. Hope this serves as a serious warning and red flag to ‘potential costumers’ of Livspace. Terrible ethics.

I was a Abben Loft customer who had sought this company service to build staircases and a loft in May 2016. The boss is (name removed) and i am very dissappointed with his service. The vertical metal column n staircases he built was slanted. Contract stated 25mm plywood loft deck and he used about 15mm. He even dared to erase 25mm n rewrite 15mm on the document. Luckily i had photos with signature as proof. I feedback to him about these problems several times and he refused to amend. He kept asking for more payment and refused to rectify the defects first. After giving many chances, I went to CASE and CASE sent him 2 letters. He refused to do anything and I went Small Claims Tribunal and was awarded compensation almost 90% of the first deposit (about 9k). However, he didnt pay me a single cent after 1 year or contact me. My Small Claim Tribunal Case Number is SCT/4865/2016. The loft he had built is unsafe and I had to dismantle the whole structure in the end.I posted a negative feedback at his Facebook review but he blocked me so my review can't be seen online on Facebook. I spent about 9 months struggling to fix this matter, going CASE, consulting lawyers and preparing documents n attending SCT.

They claimed to be a HDB licensed contractor, but it turns out that they're not. They have also been doing the renovation work without applying for a HDB permit. I signed a contract with them because they are CASE Trust accredited. Then they use another company that is not CASE accredited to bill me. They also did not provide a performance bond (a CASE requirement for accredited companies) for the deposit that they took from me. False ceiling was done wrongly 3 times. Flooring materials were infested with bugs. Low quality carpentry with shoddy workmanship. After more than 1 year, the renovation work is still not completed. All the work are passed to their sub-contractors. The ID hardly do any site visit to check on progress or the quality of the work done. Lots of nice sales talk before signing the contract. After taking payment, they avoid my phone calls and don't reply my messages. Their true colours are now revealed. I'm going to file a police report against them for fraud.

Beware of this contractor, Ego, never admit his fault when things screw up or damage client's items, saying is due to the cheap quality of the product client used. his worker broke/ damage client's item, and wanted client to produce evidence to it, he thinks his in CSI... Just becareful if you had already sign up with him. he is just rubbish

I had received feedback that she is now operate under AT General Contractors... Be aware... This company AT General Contractors is not registered in ACRA anyway, when perform a search, couldn't find the company listing.

Saw The Scientist's designs and i thought they were different from other ID we saw, and in fact, they were REALLY different. I dropped email to them to book an appointment so that we can further discuss my concept of what i want my home to be. Few days later, an ID, Cynthia rang me up to arrange for appointment and even dropped me a text to confirm the meetup, i gladly accepted. A day before the appointment date, Cynthia has to reschedule the appointment to another day because she has a site meeting. I can't make it too, so i proposed her another day. Days after days, no response at all. Such a waste of time to actually prioritize time for the appointment but was given such a horrible service. If this is the type of service provided even before i can even meet the ID, i don't think anyone should even consider them at all. Horrible follow up, or rather, no follow up at all and leave you there hanging.

Worst experience with space calibre and if there is a zero option, would have given it to him straight away for the delays of work and lousy quality of work delivered. The designer is not only incapable, but also gives excuses for things that are done wrong. He is also not careful with detailing and tend to overlook important details. Will never ever recommend this kind of service provider to anyone else

I've fully settled their payment and the MIA designer Melvin Kiew sent me a whatsapp confirming this. However Gplan still proceed to send me a small claims. There wasn't anyone else to liaise with regarding payment right from the start! Everything was through the designer. How can their internal problem be thrown back to consumers. To date rectification was still left undone since their designer Melvin Kiew ran away with their money. Very frustrating experience!
