Hi, need some advice. My HDB resale flat is currently under renovation and yesterday My ID informed me that during the hacking some of the tiles pop up and they will be charging us for the cement screed, is this very common??

Wa very suay for you. I think this could go both ways. Got possibility that the ID cockup during the hacking, also got possibility that the tiles was already lose in the first place. Might have to settle for an in between with your ID. Ask them bear some responsibility too since it is not mentioned at the start?
