I am currently renovating my living room and one of the main features is a large set of sliding glass doors leading to the patio (about 110" wide). I’m stuck deciding between going for full-length curtains, modern blinds, or layered shades.

My concerns are:

Light control and privacy during the day

Keeping the space cool (the sun hits this side directly in the afternoon)

A design that blends well with my new flooring

Maintenance and cleaning in the long run
