Hi everyone! I would like to ask a question regarding my renovation. My family and I wish to renovate our old HDB flat, where currently the living room flooring is laminated. Can anyone provide some advice whether there is a need to hack away the screed below the laminate, or would it be safe to only remove the laminate (lower cost). I've spoken to a few contractors with varying opinions on this. Would appreciate any advice from experienced homeowners here.
